SELF-WATERING PLANTER
The self watering planter is a product responding to the increase in stress and anxiety in urban environments. One reason for this is people are cut off from plants and natural materials, which have soothing effects. This product aims to combat this by making it easier to keep houseplants.
The goal
The goal of this project was to reduce stress by creating more comfortable home environments through allowing houseplants to be easier to keep inside through the use of my product.
USP of design
Whilst there are many self watering products for plants they tend to be made of plastic. The USP of this product is the self watering system being integrated in a traditional terracotta design that lets it blend better into home environments than other designs.
